Possibilities Mean Opportunities

A key to living a Joy-Filled life is found in this statement:
"When you focus on problems you'll have more problems. When you focus on possibilities you'll have more opportunities."
Unfortunately this is a spiritual truth that many will never discover! It's super-easy to be ruled by a Spirit of negativity in a world filled with so much strife and discontent. This leads to believing that nothing is ever "good enough" and leaves one filled with an anxiety of what could be instead of rejoicing in what is. Here we'll find a critical nature that always sees it's own way as the better way. This creates a shallow, disillusioned existence. The truth is, when we are determined to have "perfection" in our lives and in the lives of others, we'll end up with an empty life.
God calls us to a life of excellence while giving our best, NOT a life of perfection which is always wanting "better" from ourselves and others. In this world, excellence does NOT equal perfection. When we can't rest because our best is never good enough we develop a critical nature that overwhelms every part of life. And when in judgement we continually perceive the shortcomings of others, NO ONE will ever measure up. This leads to a lonely, miserable existence that discourages others and begins to rot every relationship. Eventually the stress of this existence will bring physical sickness. Only Jesus was perfect and our JOY must be made complete in Him alone.
God's Word is clear! ...We are exhorted to "THINK ABOUT" life from a different perspective. It is this Heavenly, Spiritual perspective that opens up a life of POSSIBILITIES, not PROBLEMS...
Philippians 4:8-9
"Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, AND THE PEACE OF GOD WILL BE WITH YOU."
